Privacy Policy

The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect or store the dates and details you enter.

Who we are

HerCycleCalc is operated by Croft & Hugh Digital LTD ("we", "us", "our"), the data controller for this website. You can reach us at hello@crofthughdigital.co.uk.

Croft & Hugh Digital LTD · Registered in England & Wales · Company No. 17207269 · Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

The data we do not collect

The dates, cycle lengths and other figures you type into our calculators are processed on your own device, in your browser. They are not sent to us and we never see them. We do not run accounts, logins or profiles, and we do not build a record of your health information.

Information stored on your device

Some features use your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

You can remove all of this at any time by clearing your browser's site data. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Technical data from hosting

Our site is delivered by hosting and content-delivery providers (currently Vercel). Like any website, their servers automatically process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver pages, keep the site secure and prevent abuse. This is standard server logging carried out by our providers acting as our processors. We do not use it to identify you.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer or affiliate network you are sent to may set their own cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. If you go on to buy something, we may receive a commission and aggregated reporting, but we do not receive your personal payment details.

Analytics and tracking

At the time of writing we use no third-party analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

Where we process limited technical data to deliver and secure the site, our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running a safe, working website. For any non-essential cookies we might introduce later, our basis would be your consent.

Retention

On-device data stays until you clear it. Technical server logs held by our hosting providers are kept for short, standard periods set by those providers and then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the limited data processed about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, there is usually little for us to act on, but you are welcome to contact us at hello@crofthughdigital.co.uk and we will respond. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

HerCycleCalc is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International transfers

Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical data on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK's international data transfer arrangements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always show the current version.
