Hi, I'm Kelli

I'm the founder of HerCycleCalc, and I built it after five years of trying for a baby. This is my story, and why this little site exists.

My journey

My road to a family has been long, and nothing like I pictured it would be. Over five years I lived through infertility, four miscarriages and a failed IVF cycle. If you're somewhere in the middle of your own version of that right now, I'm so sorry, and I promise you are not on your own.

Through all of it, I was forever doing the maths. Counting my days past ovulation, working out my fertile window, trying to figure out the earliest I could test without setting myself up for heartbreak, then later making sense of scan dates and beta numbers. I always seemed to have a dozen browser tabs open, half of them asking me to sign up, and none of them felt like they were really on my side.

Why I built HerCycleCalc

I wanted one calm, private place for the calculators I actually used, without the accounts, the clutter or the pressure. So I made it. HerCycleCalc is the tool I wish I'd had through those years: gentle, free, and quietly in your corner whether this month brings the news you're hoping for or not.

Everything runs in your own browser. There's nothing to sign up for, and I don't store the dates you type in. Whatever you save stays on your device, with you.

How I build the tools

I'm not a doctor, and I would never pretend to be. What I am is someone who has been through it, and who cares about getting the details right. The calculators use well-established methods, like the 280-day count from your last period, and the guidance follows typical UK NHS pathways. Where something is clinical or sensitive, I point you to trusted sources like the NHS and Tommy's rather than giving you my own opinion.

Please treat everything here as a helpful estimate, not medical advice. Every body and every pregnancy is different, and only a professional who knows you can give you personal guidance. Your GP, midwife or health visitor should always be your first port of call.

Your privacy

I designed HerCycleCalc to be private, because when you're going through this, the last thing you need is your most personal dates sitting on somebody's server. Everything is worked out on your device. Anything you save lives in your own browser and never reaches me. There's no account to create, and I don't track your individual numbers.

The odd product link

Now and then I may point to a product that genuinely helped me, or that I really rate. Some of those might be affiliate links, which means I could earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and it helps keep the site free. It never changes what I choose to share, and I'll always be upfront with you about it.

Come and say hi

I share the honest, everyday side of all this over on TikTok. Come and follow along at @her.cycle.calc, or find me at @kellittc. And if you've spotted something wrong, or there's a calculator you wish existed, I would genuinely love to hear from you, get in touch.
